
It’s summertime. You don’t want to carry a full purse with you all the time. And you don’t want a big, hot crochet project. Enter this easy crochet pattern. It’s available for around a dollar.

This was one of my first designs. I feel like it has held up well over time. With a simple yarn substitution, you can take this easy drawstring purse from casual to dressy. Make sure you use the same weight of yarn, though, or your purse could become microscopic.
As it is, this crochet pattern will give you a purse that will hold your keys, money or debit card, phone, and that emergency lip gloss for a day on the beach or a night on the town.
